Tony and Socks had awakened earlier and were currently eating lunch. a bit of cod from last night. and chit chatting about what the funnest small animal is to hunt. birds or rodents.

Socks, why don't you show him the simulator. You can compete in a game mode for number of successful hunts.

*in the middle of chewing, he looks up* Oh that's a wonderful idea!

The what? *puzzled*

I don't let him hunt live animals, as I'd prefer nature and peace rather than death and destruction.

So we have simulators that allow him to get out those instincts, without causing any harm to anything.

It's so real however, you can't really tell the difference. Even the smells are simulated, as well as the textures.

But isn't death just a natural part of life? *he asked while licking his paws clean*

It is. But that doesn't mean we have to encourage or accelerate it.

The two of them exit the holodeck and enter the main living area.

hmm. I wonder where spark went off to.. oh well. I'm going for my beauty nap now. See you in awhile *he said as he went to sleep in his room*

Yeah, see ya. *He said. Going over to the couch. Since he hasn't really made a room for himself yet, not wanted one. And curling up to sleep.*

The cats had woke after their naps to Go relieve themselves. Tried out the Simulation again. Ate their dinner. And eventually went back to sleep for the night.
